If it’s worth organizing…it’s worth labeling. And I must admit, I LOVE my label maker. In fact, I have 2 of them. One to keep in my client organizing kit and one for home use. 🙂
But sometimes I want cute, fun, creative labels. Thank goodness for all the great sites where you can print FREE custom labels – and all just an easy Google search away. Pretty labels, labels for kid stuff, canning labels, spice labels, any kind of label you can think of!
But you don’t have to get fancy to label effectively. You can use a marker on masking tape to label plastic bins and tubs.
For kids’ toys, you can cut out pictures from the packaging and tape it onto the bin. Organizer tip: if you opt for pics to label kid stuff, include a written or typed label beside it to be ready for beginner readers.
You can also write on colored stickers or use chalk ink on blackboard labels.
In the end, it’s really about what works for you and your family.
Happy labeling! Have an organizing project that feels a little overwhelming? Give me a call.
