Home Office Organizer
Your home office should be a space where you can focus and get work done, not a room buried under papers, files and clutter. When your desk and surfaces are crowded, it’s hard to think clearly or be productive. As a professional home organizer, I help clients declutter what no longer serves them and create simple systems that make the space tidy and functional. On this page, you’ll see before and after photos of home offices that once felt overwhelming transformed into organized, inviting spaces. With everything in its place, working becomes easier, less stressful and even a little more enjoyable. An organized office supports productivity, helping you accomplish more in a space that actually works for you.
Elevated Home Office Organizing
I just love the look of this sleek, modern office and it was a joy to help this client get her space organized. She already had really cool baskets, labels and drawer organizers so we were able to just get right to business. So fun!
Beautifully Tidy Home Office
A home office should make working from home easier...not more stressful. A cluttered space adds anxiety, something none of us need! After organizing this beautiful study, I sure hope my client is feeling more productive and less stressed! 🙂 Scroll through to see the clutter disappear.
Tidy Home Office Reset
Upon moving into her new home, this Denver mom was ready to tidy up her office space. We adjusted the layout of the furniture to make the space flow better and then styled the shelves and even set up a little desk area for her kiddos.
Home Office Organizer Overhaul
This Denver man could barely walk into his home office, let alone find anything he needed quickly. It was definitely time to tame the paper monster! We went through everything on the floor, the desk, the shelves, in the drawers and in the closet. Once we had everything sorted, we realized that adding shelves and a door rack to the closet would give him much needed storage space. We put all of the files, electronics and office supplies he needs but doesn't have to access often in the newly designed closet. This freed up his desk area to hold everything he accesses on a daily basis. We also added a new filing cabinet and set up a filing system so his paper monster never returns.
Luxury Home Office by a Home Organizer
I had so much fun organizing and styling this client's home office. First, it's a gorgeous space. Second, the built-ins and desk had so much storage that it was easy to file papers and tuck office supplies out of sight. Unfortunately, I don't have any before pics... but that doesn't mean you can't simply enjoy the final result.
Home Office Organization
Like many homes, this office is right off the entryway so it's the first room people see when they come in the front door. This Westminster couple wanted some help purging and organizing to make the room feel more welcoming and more conducive to work. Done and done!
File & Tidy: Office Declutter
This project was a labor of love because I absolutely adore this client. They needed the closet in their home office to hold all of their current files, files they have to keep but don't need to access often and office supplies. We used elfa from The Container Store to replace the single rod and shelf. The deep drawers hold all of their hanging files. Each drawer holds certain categories and all of the files are neatly labeled. The large boxes keep less current files organized and the small boxes hold office supplies. This was so much fun and it makes my heart happy that my clients love the results.
Home Office Organizer Transformation
The pictures speak for themselves on this one, folks! I gotta tell ya, though, this was a TON of FUN! This Denver woman admits she let her home office get out of control. Years of paperwork, craft and art supplies for the kids, wrapping supplies, bins of photos and framed artwork, and even extra furniture, had taken over her space. The first order of business was to sort items into categories: keep, donate, trash, recycle and belongs elsewhere. Luckily, there was quite a bit that went into all of the "non-keep" categories. 🙂 Luckily she had lots and lots of empty bins and containers for us to sort and use for all of the craft and office supplies. Now the kiddos can ask for the bin of markers or paint when they want to get crafty. Putting those bins up high also means Mom gets to control who gets what...and when. LOL. Wrapping paper supplies all fit in the gift wrap cart. Papers were sorted - but most of them were recycled or shredded, leaving us one small basket of paper that needs to be scanned and filed electronically. Now instead of dreading her work day, she looks forward to having a space where she can see and find everything easily.

A More Organized Home Office
A little purging. A little tidying. I had a great time working with this Denver woman to get her home office in order. We created such an organized space, that we made room for the desk! And, yes, we did get all of the paperwork in order, too!

Vertical Office Organizing by a Home Organizer
When you have a small space but lots of stuff, make smart use of your walls. SOS goes vertical to increase storage in this small home office. Labeled bins and boxes hold paperwork, photos and magazines that are easy to access but still look nice on the decorative shelves.

Decluttered Home Office Reveal
Every time this Denver mom thought about getting her home office organized, she peeked inside and walked away. 🙂 But towering piles of paperwork are no match for SOS! We pulled everything out of the room and moved her filing cabinet (which was empty!) to another wall to make the room feel a little more balanced. We took big boxes and designated them trash, shred and recycle. Then we dove into the paper piles. We sorted everything into categories: financial, medical, work files, home files, photos, memorabilia, kid artwork, and office supplies. We ended up with a full boxes of trash, shred and recycle. We then created hanging files for all of the important papers and made great use of her empty filing cabinet. Her office supplies are now sorted into a handing rolling cart that fits nicely under her desk...and her desk top is clear for the first time in years!

Home Organizer Office Makeover
A tiny desk with no storage, small plastic drawer units and some mis-matched shelves caused a pileup of papers that left this office space less than productive.
We turned to elfa from The Container Store to build a complete office set-up on one wall. Two large desktops anchored with sturdy filing cabinets and a drawer unit provide lots of work space and storage space. Utility boards keep all of the office supplies like paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, etc. organized and within easy reach. And shelves that go all the way to the ceiling provide great storage as well as space for precious family decorations.
