Most of us rang in 2015 making some sort of resolution to improve our lives. Take a look at last year’s top 10 resolutions according to statisticbrain.com:
- Lose Weight
- Getting Organized
- Spend Less, Save More
- Enjoy Life to the Fullest
- Staying Fit and Healthy
- Learn Something Exciting
- Quit Smoking
- Help Others in Their Dreams
- Fall in Love
- Spend More Time with Family
What if you could tackle five of these by doing just one of them?
What?!
Yep. Getting organized (#2 on the list) can help you spend less and save more, enjoy life to the fullest, learn something exciting and allow you to spend more time with you family. If you were keeping track, that knocked #3, #4, #6 and #10 off this list!
That’s pretty powerful stuff, don’t you think?
“How can getting organized do all that?” you ask?
Well, when you know what you have and where to find it, you’re less likely to buy duplicates. I once had a client who discovered she had 13 three-hole punches and 17 pairs of scissors. Yikes!
When you’re not stressed about clutter or frustrated with an inability to find things, you can spend more time enjoying life and have more quality time with your family. Wow…that’s a two-for-one right there.
Learning any new skill is both challenging and rewarding. It’s the same for organization. For some people it comes naturally. For others, there’s a learning curve. It’s so exciting when that “ah-ha” moment happens and a client understands why clutter has overtaken their lives AND how to conquer it…for good!
